OAKLAND A's(Blackburn) +140 over San Francisco Giants(Stripling)---------The staggeringly bad record of 30-80 by Oakland makes this play not recommendable.  It's a play for me and me alone to make.   Blackburn is close to 50% on his wins/when pitching.  Stripling's starts have given SF a 4-12 record;  that's really bad on a team as respectable as SF.   (Win 2-1)

CHICAGO WHITE SOX(Clevinger) +135 over Cleveland Guardians(Allen)-----Clevinger's been doing well and he does have my birthday.  White Sox have just gone 2-10---having a bad season,  yet they've scored 4 more run than Cleveland.  But Allen and Cleve have the home revenge here,  yet they themselves have just gone 1-5.   So,  tough call,  but a miraculous event occurred yesterday in Amalfi which concerns one of the names on the CWS.  So I'll play it.(Lose 4-2...........Clevinger doesn't do bad but they still lose)
