COLORADO ROCKIES(Gordon) +110 over Baltimore Orioles(Povich)----One thing good about Gordon is he only walks 1 every 5 innings.  But his BA against is .307.  He hasn't won much,  but Rockies almost won for me yesterday.   Povich..........I don't know.  .275 walking 1 every 2.8 innings and he hasn't pitched a lot.  Orioles are 1 game out of the WC so they should have motivation,  however this game is in Colorado.   Rockies are hitting 16pts higher than Orioles and have scored 18 more Runs.  So,  their offense is demonstrably better.(Lose 2-1............Rockies out hit them 8-4.  Apparently,  Jake McCarthy's game winning HR was stolen with a fence catch by #17 Cowser in CF.)

SEATTLE MARINERS(Kirby) +135 over Boston Red Sox(Tolle)------Red Sox have streaked into the WC where they'll probably stay.  But they are now on a 1-4 streak.  Mariners on a 2-4 streak.   Yes,  Tolle has been much harder to hit than Kirby,  who is about 30 pts easier to hit this year than last year.   (3 of Kirby's last 5 starts have been good).  And Kirby only walks 1 every 4 innings.   Raleigh,  whose strange failure this year has been the demise of the team,  has raised his average from .156 to .171 over the last 10 days.(Lose 9-8..........Mariners have an 8-5 lead going into the 8th,  as Randy Arozarena had gone 4-5 w/ HR.  Trevor Story hit a pop-up to left field which ran into the Green Monster.   Would have been any easy Fly Out in every other MLB stadium.   This drove in 2 runs.   And then Roman Anthony's lead off single turned into a triple after Julio Rodriguez made some kind of a "dive move" as if he was gonna catch it in the 9th.   And of course,  he scored to tie the game because there were no Outs.)

PITTSBURGH PIRATES(Ashcraft) -117 over Stl Cardinals(Liberatore)----Pirates have hit 11pts higher than Stl and scored 54 more runs.  Yes,  Pirates have the Revenge vs Liberatore,  whom they rocked but still lost the game.    Ashcraft is .230 and walks 1 every 4.5 innings.  He does occasionally get rocked,  but overall his stats are very good.   Liberatore throws a .285 average and...........gives up a lot of runs.  Stl has won 2 more games and is 5 games out of the Wild Card.   Pirates on a 6-6 streak and have gone 11-14 in August.   In Ashcraft's last 23 innings he's only allowed 3 ER and walked 2.(Win 5-4.........)

COLORADO ROCKIES(Adams) +200 over Atlanta Braves(Mahle)-----Braves have won 29 more games than Rockies but it's not because their offense is statistically better.   Rockies have scored 10 more Runs and hit 5pts higher than Braves.   Rockies have gone 0-3 and 9-17 this month.   Mason Adams has only 4 MLB innings........but they were good.   The question is........how good is Mahle?   .258 and walking 1 every 2.8innings.   Since he was on the Giants,   his teams have gone 8-14 when he pitches.    He may just be an average pitcher going against a rookie who may be good.(Lose 3-2...........Ryan Feltner with a good 4 5  0 2 6 in relief but he still takes the L)

KANSAS CITY ROYALS(Cameron) -110 over Toronto Blue Jays(Arrighetti)----Arrighetti throws a .216 average but walks more than 1 every 2 innings.  He has allowed 24 ER in his last 22 innings.    Cameron is a pitcher who is really getting better.  He has allowed only 5 ER in his last 42 innings.   Royals offense has scored 38 more Runs than Toronto and Royals are on an 8-1 streak.  Blue Jays on a 4-5 streak.(Win 13-1..............Jac Caglianone 5-6 HR,  Pasquantino 2-5 HR,   Jensen an HR)

OAKLAND A's(Ginn) +123 over Minnesota Twins(Prielipp)------A's on a little 3-1 streak.  They've gone 15-12 for Ginn,  who throws a .223 average.   Twins have scored only 33 more runs than A's.   Both teams hit .245.  Twins have gone 6-12 for Prielipp,  who has gotten brutally rocked his last 2 starts and....has gotten worse throughout the season.   A's have gone 4-10 for me;  they're not good.........but maybe today.(Win 7-4.............Tommy White 3-4,  Butler an HR)

BOSTON RED SOX(Gray) -1.5(+125)  over Miami Marlins(Gusto)----Boston has scored 22 more runs than Miami.   Gray is a little guy but he's pretty good,  and he's from Tennessee,  where Dolly Parton just died.   So this will be our Dolly Parton game.   Red Sox have gone 18-6 when Gray pitches.   So there's a high percentage chance this will be a Win for them.    Gusto is .262 BA against,  and he doesn't usually pitch many innings per game.(Lose 4-0.........No offense from Boston.  Not good for the forthcoming Clancy verdict)

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS(Houser) -107 over Cincinnati Reds(Singer)----Houser has allowed 2 ER in his last 25 innings but Giants have only gone 8-17 for him.   Giants do have the Revenge vs Singer,  whose team has gone 9-16 when he starts.   Giants have only gone 5-10 for ME but they have hit 21pts higher than Reds.  Batters hit .258 off Houser and .275 off Singer.(Win 3-1............Dever HR,  Drew Cavanaugh 3-3,  Troy MI)

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS(Pfaadt) -105 over Chicago Cubs(Holmes)----Cubs have won 7 more games and are on a 5-6 streak.   AZ has gone 11-11 in August.   Cubs have gone 6-6 when Holmes pitches,  who throws a .211 average and walks 1 every 3innings.   AZ has gone 14-9 for Pfaadt and he walks 1 every 4 innings.  Cubs have scored 93 more runs.   Holmes may be better than I think he is,  but with Arizona at home,  just 2 games out of the Wild Card,  I think they need this game more.(Win 5-4............Apparently Holmes is good,  as he goes 7 2 0 2 5 here.   But it was the pinch hit,  bottom of the 9th with 2 Outs GWHR by Ryan Waldschmidt that got the Win)

TEXAS RANGERS(Rocker) +115 over Chicago White Sox(Urquidy)-------Urquidy has had 7 games this year where he pitched.  Only his last start was good.   Rocker is .256  walking 1 every 2.5 innings.  Rangers have gone 10-14 with him.  CWS has won 3 more games while scoring 97 more runs.   These teams have gone 10-10 and 10-11 in August.  Texas has gone 3-4 for me this year.(Win 11-2.......wow, Urquidy is rocked.  Seager 3-4,  EZ Duran 2-4,  Langford 2-5 HR)

CINCINNATI REDS(Burns) -1.5(+112) over San Francisco Giants(Whisenhunt)-----In Whisenhunt's 7 starts he's emerged as a suck-up,  giving a .300 average and walking a heinous amount of hitters.   Reds have gone 18-6 for Burns.  Reds have scored 14 more runs.   Yes,  Reds have only won 2 games by more than 1 run this month but...........the pitching matchup is too extreme.(Lose 5-0...........Burns somehow gets rocked)

CHICAGO CUBS(Imanaga) -114 over Seattle Mariners(Miller)-----Mariners have gone 0-7 in Miller's last 8 starts.   He's been routinely getting rocked.  Cubs have hit 18pts higher and scored about 150 more runs.  Imanaga has walked fewer than 1 every 4 innings with a BA against of .230.(Win 19-2...............Wow.  19.  Ian Happ 2-4 HR, PCA 2-4 HR,  Pedro Ramirez 2-5 HR.........Civale comes in to go 4 1 0 0 2)

COLORADO ROCKIES(Sugano) +143 over Cleveland Guardians(Griffin)------Griffin's teams have gone 19-7 for him,  which is very good.  But Col has hit 19pts higher and scored 95 more runs.   And Sugano does win a lot,  though he lost for me last time.  Rockies have a miserable 7-12 month of August here.   But at home at this price,   we'll try to target Griffin here.(Lose 7-2...........Sugano rocked)

TORONTO BLUE JAYS(Cease) -107 over New York Yankees(Weathers)-----Yankees on a 5-0 streak and Weathers has allowed 2 ER in his last 25 innings.   I just don't think he's that good.  It's odd that Yankees have scored 54 more runs but Tor is hitting 15pts higher.   Cease does have the double Revenge and his team has gone 15-9 when he pitches.   Yankees have gone 7-1 in Weathers last 8 starts while 13-11 when he starts for the whole season.   So he's running good,  we've got to reach back and rock him.   This is a good price for Cease as his BA against is .179.   Don't let me down like the Cubs did.(Win 4-3...........Not really "as close as the score" as Blue Jays out hit them 15-4.   George Springer 3-5,  Lukes 2-3 HR)

MIAMI MARLINS(Perez) -1.5(+125) over Washington Nationals(Irvin)-----Nationals are 6-13 in August.  Marlins usually have won by more than 1 run in their wins this month.   Perez has gotten better over his last 12 starts so..........I like him here.  Irvin throws .244 but he usually allows  a lot of runs.  ERA is 5.80.(Win 4-2............Marsee 2-4 HR)

SAN DIEGO PADRES(Mize) -140 over Minnesota Twins(Kremer)-----SD has won 6 more games even though Twins offense is better,  +55 Runs.  Mize is good,  but his teams' have only gone 7-12 when he pitches.  (Kremer has yielded a 4-6 record).   Padres are 13-6 in August,  which is simply much better than the Twins' 7-11.   Price not good but I'll play it for a little.(Win 7-5...........Oh and THEY COME BACK!  Twins had a 5-1 lead after Mize got rocked.   Jackson Merrill  2-3 HR)

CHICAGO CUBS(Boyd) -109 over Seattle Mariners(Hancock)------Cubs are 12-6 in August and have scored 156 more Runs than Seattle.  Seattle has gone 11-12 for Hancock while Cubs have gone 12-4 for Boyd.   Boyd usually does well,  it was just that last start vs Stl..........where Baez hit 3HRs.   Hancock has allowed 35 Hits in his last 28innings.(Lose 6-5..........Cubs out hit them 12-8)

LA ANGELS(Detmers) +123 over Texas Rangers(Gore)-----Angels offensive confidence has to be sky-hi after yesterday.  Detmers has allowed 19 Hits in his last 34 innings.  He does have the double Revenge vs Rangers.   And Angels have the Revenge vs Gore,  although he's faced them multiple times this season.  Angels on a 6-3 streak.  Gore...........walking 1 every 2.6innings.  Angels actually have scored 16 more Runs than Texas.  Angels have gone 10-15 for Detmers but...........he's better than Gore.(Lose 2-1...........Ezequiel Duran is #20.  Remember that.  He went 4-5)

MILWAUKEE BREWERS(Misiorowski) -139 over Atlanta Braves(Sale)-----Atl on a 2-5 run.  Brewers 11-8 in August.   Misiorowski has the Revenge vs Atl and Brewers have the Revenge vs Sale.   So this is a double Revenge situation.   Brewers have won 4 more games.   Both starters are good but  Misiorowski is .151 ba against.(Win 2-1)

Chicago White Sox(Hudson) vs Chicago Cubs(Gausman) OVER 9(-105)---------Hudson is a 1-inning pitcher and I have a feeling Gausman is getting rocked.  CWS are 72-52 Over/Under.  20 more games they go Over.   And Cubs go Over 10 more games than Under.(Lose 4-3.............Fedde came in and did good.  Gausman 4 7 3 2 5.............Cubs didn't hit enough)

BALTIMORE ORIOLES(Young) +140 over Tampa Bay Rays(McClanahan)-----Orioles are on a 5-2 run and going for a 4-game sweep of TB.   Orioles offense has scored 4 more runs than TB,  while TB hits 24pts higher.  That's odd, isn't it?   TB has won 13 more games.  TB has gone 12-8 when McClanahan pitches.  But Orioles have gone 15-4 when Young pitches for them.   So,  walking 1 every 2.8 innings,  throwing a .249 average,   Young has had a massive winning effect on Baltimore.   At this price,  I'll take him.(Lose 7-6.........Both starters get rocked.   Orioles out hit them 14-12.  It was Cano who came in and lost it,  allowing 3ER)

SEATTLE MARINERS(Woo) +115 over Houston Astros(Brown)-----Houston has won 5 more games than Seattle.   Woo's last 2 starts have been good.   He has walked fewer than 1 every 4 innings while Brown has walked more than 1 every 2 innings.   Mariners have Josh Naylor,  a good name to have after Joshua Baez opened his career with 3 consecutive HRs off Matt Boyd.   And their offense came alive yesterday with Young and Robles hitting, as well as Donovan.   Brown is hard to hit,  but his team has only gone 6-6 when he's pitched.   Mariners on a 2-7 streak while Astros have gone 7-6.  Astros have scored 88 more runs.   Dan Brown ripped me off(Read my books!!!) and we'll try to break that name today,  which did the murder-suicide in Hopkins, Minnesota.(Win 3-2.............Arozarena 2-5 HR)

KANSAS CITY ROYALS(Cameron) -120 over La Angels(Johnson)----Cameron is one of those classic hit or miss pitchers.   He either gets rocked or does very well.  3 of his last 4 starts have been very good.  Actually,  he's thrown a .251 average,  walking 1 every 3 innings.   Offenses are about equal,  with Royals having gone a terrible 6-17 when Cameron pitches.   Angels have gone 4-10 for Johnson,  who is .273 and 1 every 2.(Win 3-0...........Wo!  Cameron a CGSHO)

MINNESOTA TWINS(Bradley) -114 over Philadelphia Phillies(Nola)-----Twins at home here vs the 7th worst team to bet on in MLB this season.  Twins have scored 36 more runs and have hit 8pts higher.   Phillies have won 4 more games.   Twins have been on an 11-5 streak,  Bradley is throwing a .220 average.   Nola has been hit with a .279 average,  and his teams has gone 10-14 when he pitches.   Twins have gone 14-9 for Bradley.   I believe we have the better SP and offense for a low price.(Lose 7-1...........Bradley rocked.)

LA ANGELS(Urena) +135 over Miami Marlins(Alcantara)----------Urena has thrown a .199 average,  has a 2.54 ERA and has walked 1 every 2 innings.   Malins have scored 25 more runs.  Marlins have gone 15-9 for Alcantara.  But they are on an 0-4 streak now.(Lose 7-0...........Urena rocked, not helping)

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS(Kelly) +150 over La Dodgers(Sasaki)----Dodgers have won 8 more games and scored 56 more runs  but are on a 2-8 streak.   Dodgers have gone 11-8 for Sasaki and he throws a .239 average.   Kelly's last 6 starts have been fairly good.   AZ on a 12-7 streak.(Win 4-3..........Both teams had 7 Hits.   But Max Kepler,  who was born in Berlin,   got the BB,  then Ryan Waldschmidt(German),  who was hitting .292 but had not hit well in this game,   hit only the second MLB HR of his life,  ending the game with a W.   Wow.   Perdomo had 2 good hits and Nolan Arenado hit an HR)

LA ANGELS(Klassen) +145 over Miami Marlins(Phillips)-----------Angels won yesterday.   Hmm.  They are on a bad 3-10 run.   But Miami is here on a 3-game losing streak.   Klassen has only pitched 4 innings and they haven't been good.   Marlins have scored 25 more runs,  won 14 more games yet are only a .500 team.(Win 4-3...........Angels were out hit 12-6..........there was a key Error by pitcher Josh Ekness,  allowing 3 unearned Runs.  Jose Siri,  in the game after pinch hitting,  threw him out at home plate for the final out of the game,  getting the first Save of Jose Fermin's career.  Wow)

SAN DIEGO PADRES(Ray) -125 over Houston Astros(Blanco)---------Padres on a 4-2 streak.  Astros have  scored 49 more runs but..........Blanco has walked people and allowed runs.(Lose 6-3..........5 walks by Ray)

 DETROIT TIGERS(Valdez) +100 over Seattle Mariners(Miller)_-------Tigers' offense is better.  I don't see how Miller's name can help him here.  He's been a good pitcher but.....its time to knock him out.(Win 11-0...........Wo!  A beatdown.  Valdez allows 0ER,  the first time since June 16th.  Dingler 3-6 HR,  Colton Keith 3-5,  McGonigle 2-3, HR,  Javier Baez 2.5. )

WASHINGTON NATIONALS(Irvin) +175 over Philadelphia Phillies(Painter)-----Painter went 6 3 2 in his last start,  which was ok.   But the guy has not been good this year.   Washington has scored 109 more runs and hits 13pts higher.(Win 9-4.......Abrams,  3-5,  had the big hit in the 11th inning,  Jacob Young 2-3,  Chaparro 2 RBI)

CHICAGO WHITE SOX(Burke) +125 over Boston Red Sox(Gray)----Yes,  Red Sox on a 23-4 run.  About.   CWS have scored 45 more runs.   Burke is about as good a pitcher as Gray now.    Gray has allowed 17 Hits in his last 12 innings.   Boston has hit 8pts higher.(Lose 4-0)

COLORADO ROCKIES(Hughes) +155 over Tampa Bay Rays(Peralta)----------Peralta walks almost 1 every 2 innings,  throws  a .264 average.  Yes,  Lorenzen got rocked last night but Hughes...........is a .250 BA against in 5 starts.   Rockies are 50 runs up on the Rays,  I still believe in this team AND they have the Revenge vs Peralta for the May 6th game.(Lose 9-7...........probably my worst loss of the year,  as Jordan Romano gives up 2 in the 9th to tie the game.   Peralta was rocked)

STL CARDINALS(Dobbins) +180 over New York Yankees(Weathers)-------Yankees have scored 23 more Runs than Stl but...........Stl is hitting 8pts higher.  Yankees have won 7 more games and have gone 10-11 when Weathers pitches.   He did pitch well against me when I bet against him last time.   He is a Sagittarius.   Batters have hit .249 against him,  Yankees on a 9-8 streak.........the price is just too high.(Lose 2-0.............Dobbins went 6 4 2 3 4............not bad,  but Cardinals don't hit)

OAKLAND A's(Ginn) +116 over Cincinnati Reds(Singer)------hard to believe I'm betting this team again...........after they've gone like 4-11 for me.  But A's have pitching and offensive advantages.(Lose 5-4..........WHAT THE FUCK, HOGAN HARRIS?????  2 Walks,  2 Outs and 3 consecutive Wild Pitches.  That's it.  Game over.    You blew the lead and the game.  Oakland out hits them 8-5.   Jesus Christ,  A's suck.)

DETROIT TIGERS(Melton) +110 over Seattle Mariners(Hancock)----Tigers have gone 10-2 when Melton pitches;  he is throwing a .174 average.   Tigers have also scored 51 more runs than Seattle and hit 11pts higher.   Mariners have won 1 more game and gone 10-10 for Hancock.(Win 8-0..........at least we won the election)

COLORADO ROCKIES(Lorenzen) +150 over Tampa Bay Rays(Seymour)-----Tampa has won 20 more games than Rockies and has hit 4pts higher.  But Colorado has scored 54 more runs than Tampa.  Colorado is also on a nifty little 3 game winning streak,  after the CG by Freeland yesterday.   Seymour has a 4.37 ERA but throws a .211 average.   I don't know if I'd call him a starter or not.  Obviously,   Lorenzen sucks with a .331 BA against and has walked 1 every 2.5 innings.  Rockies have gone 9-14 when he pitches.  #6 Julien made it into the lineup yesterday and Rockies will have Tovar,  #14,  at .193 and #20 Johnston.  Rockies have gone 10-8 when I've bet on them----this is good,  as they are usually a pretty big underdog.  Hopefully,  Lorenzen can make it through 5 innings without getting rocked too hard.(Lose 13-9............Lorenzen 3 7 7 3 0............Tovar was 4-4 w/HR raising up to .202)

CHICAGO CUBS(Boyd) +105 over La Dodgers(Wrobleski)-----Dodgers have only scored 2 more runs than Cubs.   Boyd has allowed 23 hits in his last 32 innings.   Cubs have gone 7-1 in Boyd's last 8 starts.   Dodgers have won 6 more games than Cubs.  Dodgers on a 2-5 streak while Cubs have gone 6-4.  Wrobleski,  who throws a .222 BA,  went 6 7 5 0 7 in his last game,  allowing 4 HRs.  We'll go with Boyd.(Win 10-5............Alcantara, Suzuki and Busch HRs)

BOSTON RED SOX(Bennett) +160 over La Dodgers(Sheehan)-----Bennett's a Sagittarius and has walked only 1 every 5 innings.   The Red Sox are on a 22-4 streak while..........the Dodgers offense has still done better,  by 102 runs and hitting 18pts higher.   Red Sox have gone 6-5 for Bennett,  whose ERA is 2.74 while Dodgers have gone 8-11 for Sheehan, who is not as good as Bennett.(Win 8-4.............Sheehan rocked)

OAKLAND A's(Perkins) +145 over Detroit Tigers(Valdez)------Offenses are about equal.  Tigers have gone 9-13 when Valdez has pitched.   Perkins has thrown a .246 average and definitely has the Revenge for the July 9th game.   A's off a miserable 5-18 July,  blown out by Tigers last night.  Isn't it time for a win?   Oakland has gone 4-10 for me when I bet on them.  Not good.   A's now have Tommy White,  Kurtz,  Thomas, Jacob Wilson, Jonah Heim.(Lose 8-6..........Sick,  Perkins goes 5 9 6 1 9)

SEATTLE MARINERS(Gilbert) -1.5(+130) over Minnesota Twins(Prielipp)-------Twins offense is better and Twins have won 3 more games.   Mariners on a 5-8 run but Gilbert...........has walked about 1 every 5 innings,  thrown a .213 average and Mariners have gone 13-8 when he pitches.   The problem with Seattle's offense is Cal Raleigh's .164 average,  but they have Randy and Young and Canzone.  I'll just bet that they hit today.(Lose 4-3.............they had the lead but Gilbert gave up HRs to Larnach and Keaschall)
