CHICAGO WHITE SOX(Holmberg) +190 over Cleveland Indians(Tomlin)----Tomlin is getting hit but he amazingly has walked only 4 batters in 60-some innings. CWS on a 1-8 run and is 1-6 in June. Holmberg has only had 2 starts this year but he's an lhp and the Indians have been weaker vs lhps. Indians are 2 games over .500 and...........well, their offense is not statistically better than the CWS this year. They did rock Tomlin in April, give him the Revenge but..............this is a good price.(Win 5-3..........Yolmer Sanchez 2-4.........Jose Abreu 3-5........Avisail Garcia 2-3)
LA ANGELS(Nolasco) +159 over Houston Astros(Fiers)------Houston is 43-19, 24 games over .500, Angels are a .500 team. Should I be getting a better price? Especially since Trout is OUT......Angels have lost the LAST 7 games in which Nolasco has started. Wow. Astros have the best offense in baseball now. But.......Angels on a 3-1 run with 20 runs scored in their last 2 games.(Lose 3-1...........2 Total hits from these Little Leaguers)
WASHINGTON NATIONALS(Gonzalez) -1.5(-105) over Texas Rangers(Perez)-----Rangers have hit .228 vs lhps........and Perez is........not very good. Gio walks 1 every 2 but is kind of hard to hit.(Lose 6-3............Oklahoma's Koda Glover comes in in the 9th to give up the 3H, BB and 2ER to tie it. Then lose in extra innings)
COLORADO ROCKIES(Hoffman) +105 over Chicago Cubs(Butler)------Butler has had 3 good games......but he's walked 14 in 24 innings and doesn't pitch many innings per start. Rockies have just done much better than Cubs this year. Cubs have hit .233; that's the 2nd worst average of all teams. Are the Rockies suddenly a bad offense on the road? I don't think so. Hoffman has had 3 out of 3 excellent starts---albeit against 2 weak teams.(Win 9-1...........Mark Reynolds 4-5 HR.........Charlie Blackmon 2-4 HR...........DJ LeMahieu 2-5)
SAN DIEGO PADRES(Diaz) +110 over Kansas City Royals(Kennedy)-----Kennedy rocked in his last 4 starts.....both offenses are jokes but.........Miguel Diaz has a good chance to win here at home.(Lose 12-6...........Diaz goes only 2 inn, giving up nothing except walks. Brad Hand and Jose Valdez give up the 8ER..............Lorenzo Cain 2HR for Royals)
