ATLANTA BRAVES(Elder) -114 over Detroit Tigers(Valdez)--------Got in on Betrivers at this low price.  Valdez is not bad,  and Elder is pretty good,  walking only 1 every 3.7 innings and throwing a .194 average.   Atlanta is the best offense in baseball,  having outscored the Tigers by 38 Runs.

COLORADO ROCKIES(Lorenzen) +155 over Cincinnati Reds(Abbott)-----Lorenzen doesn't have problems with walks.  1 every 4 innings.   But he has won this year despite the .359 average he's throwing.  Abbott has thrown a .319 average,  walking 1 every 2 innings and we can say..........that he usually gets rocked.   Reds have won 5 more games than Col but Rockies have out hit them by 34pts and scored 6 more runs.  Yesterday Goodman had 2 HR and it was a blowout.  Today Abbott is up there at -165...........I'll take it.
