ST LOUIS CARDINALS(Wacha) -111 over New York Mets(Montero)------Wacha...........started his career as a "Top Pitcher".   And he was good........for a couple years.   Last year he wasn't that good and.........I guess he's average now.   Cardinals and Mets offenses about equal.   But Mets are starting Montero.   He's not a starting pitcher and............he's way worse that 'average'.   Mets are 3-15 in games Montero has pitched for them(mostly in relief) this year.   That stat alone should be enough to give Wacha a chance here.(Win 5-0........CG SHO 3-hitter by Wacha............Cardinals got 1 hit from all batters except Matt Carpenter who got 4 hits)

COLORADO ROCKIES(Senzatela) -144 over San Diego Padres(Lamet)-----Rockies.........didn't collapse entirely after their 1-10 run at the end of June;  they're still trying to contend.   Senzatela is back from the bullpen..........for this start(He's still 9-3,  even tho he was starting to get rocked regularly).   Lamet has been totally rocked 3 times, and done well 5 times.  Very little middle-ground with him so far.   Padres have scored 334 Runs,  Rockies have scored 488 Runs.   That's the big difference.(Win 9-7..........Gerardo Parra 3-3, now hitting .352..........Carlos Gonzalez 3RBI)

NEW YORK YANKEES(Cessa) -139 over Minnesota Twins(Colon)------I can see the Twins optioning Kyle Gibson for assignment(if they did that)...........but his replacement..........is Colon?  No.  I had some hopes for the Twins this year........but this........I just can't believe they're starting Bartolo,  (whose experience is certainly respectable but....).  WTF?  Like,  the Twins have NO minor league pitchers?  No prospects?  True,  Yankees and Twins have both won 47 games this year.   At .338,  Colon has been probably the most hittable pitcher in baseball this year;  he's averaged about 5 innings per start.(Win 6-3..........Didi Gregorius 3-4, HR..........Ronald Torreyes 3-4..........Chasen Shreve gets the W..........Cessa walked 4 in 3 innings)

ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS(Ray) -1.5(+100) over Cincinnati Reds(Romano)----Arizona on a 0-5 run,  having gone 3-8 in July.   They're slipping out of contention.   Ray's good but he's walking 1 ever 2 innings.(Win 11-2............Arizona gets extra-base hits from 9 players for the first time in franchise history...........HRs from Ray Fuentes and Chris Herrmann.........Peralta was 3-5)
